What Seating Options Are There
You can have no seating, scattered seating for intermittent snacking or seating at tables for 12-15. Most of the time the children's parties involve 2-3 hours of play first and then tables are set up for the food, drinks, cake.
Could This Venue Be Used For Teen Parties?
Definitely! This is a great spot for a teen party for 12-15 people including chaperones. We can remove all the doll supplies (or keep some if you'd like) and then set up seating however you would like. You may decorate however you'd like, bring music, food and drinks.
How Are Items Sanitized?
- We clean all hard surfaces and floors between parties (counters, sink, bathroom, tables, chairs).
- Any "dress up" clothes that were used go into the laundry hamper and will be cleaned prior to next use.
- We wipe down the vinyl portions of the dolls when needed
- Doll clothes will be rotated and washed at least monthly.
- We have soap and water as well as hand sanitizer available at the venue
- Venue is cleaned thoroughly once a week by professional cleaner
What Ages Are Appropriate
The 18" dolls and accessories are recommended for ages 8 and up. My kids had these dolls starting at age 6 but I didn't get the small accessories for them until they were older.
Can We Order Food Locally?
There are many options for catering or takeout very close to the venue. Right on the square we have Khaotic Sweetz and Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant. Just around the corner there is Mama K's Buns and Scoops Ice Cream Shop. Within 1/2 mile of the venue local restaurants include Cafe Del Sol, B Street 104 Restaurant & Pub, El Sombrero, Casa Agave, Tony's Pizza, Mikie's Ice Cream and John Allison Pub.
Does The Venue Have Wifi?
You will have access to Wifi free of charge at the venue
Is There Any Outdoor Space
The venue is on the square in Greencastle, PA so there is a sidewalk and benches.
When Should We Arrive?
You can arrive 15 minutes prior to your party time to set up anything you bring personally (food, drink, party ware). We will have the venue sparkly clean and set up just like we discussed!
After Our Event, Do We Have To Leave?
We ask that all party-goers be off the premises no later than 10 minutes after your party time ends. This is to help us clean and prepare the venue for the next event.
Can We Buy Dolls or Clothes?
Our regular refurbished dolls can be purchased for $55. Regular clothes can be purchased for $3 a piece and shoes for $4 a pair. Purchase of these items will occur at the end of the party only.
Specialty clothes and dolls will not be for sale as they will be needed for other children to play with at future parties.
You can purchase "gift bags" for the party-goers and we can discuss exactly what you would like in the bags. This is completely optional.
Can We Bring Our Own Dolls?
Absolutely! Any doll is welcome to join in the fun!
What Is The Dementia Caregiver Option
This is not yet available.
Do You Allow Smoking?
Smoking is not allowed inside or in front of our venue. You are allowed to smoke on the public benches on the square.
Can Adults Use The Venue?
Yes! We can remove all dolls and accessories and adults or families can use the venue for many different events:
- Family gatherings
- Baby or Bridal showers
- Bunco, Bridge or Canasta parties
- Small LARP get-togethers
- Murder Mystery nights
- Regular meetings for church or civic groups Parent's night out - hire your own babysitters to supervise the children at the venue while you and your group go out on the town
- Hen parties (IYKYK)
- Quilting, Sewing or Crafting weekends
- "Learn to" classes that you host
Grambo's Attic is a cozy venue that can accommodate 12-15 people.
